Most people want to know what they are getting themselves into before they walk into a new church, and we’re no different. Our service runs about 65-75 minutes, and we aim to be done between 11:15 and 11:30. Our services involve music, preaching, and some multi-media elements. Most of our church shows up slightly early to say hello to each other, catch up over a cup of coffee, and get their kids situated in their classes. Here is what a typical Sunday looks like:
Our Service Plan:
- Welcome and Song Set: 20 minutes
- Announcements and Offering: 5 minutes
- Message: 30-40 minutes
- Communion and Final Song: 5 minutes
- Final Announcements and Dismissal: 5 minutes
We prioritize your children, and have multiple options for you and your children during service. We offer a classroom for elementary and preschool ages, a nursery for infants and toddlers, and a mother’s cry room for nursing/crying babies, where you can still participate in the service. As soon as you walk in you will see the Hope Crossing Info Table, and one of our friendly volunteers will be happy to point you in the right direction.
What Should I Wear?
This is Colorado! We are casual. Matt preaches most weeks in jeans. You will see everything from slacks and dresses around the holiday seasons (Easter, Christmas) to shorts and flip flops in the summer (or February!) Come as you are.
Our style of music is what is described as "Contemporary Christian Worship Music". Some of this music can be heard on local radio stations like WayFM and KLove. Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and All Sons and Daughters are just a few examples of the bands we play.
